This Privacy Notice explains how WREXRENT (“we”, “us”, “our”), the trading name of Bryn Property Company Limited (Registered in England & Wales, Company No. 975694), collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information.

What information we collect
We collect personal information in the course of providing rental and property services, including but not limited to:
- Tenants / Contract-holders: name, date of birth, address (current & previous), email, telephone number, marital status, National Insurance number, nationality, next of kin, employment status, university/college details (if applicable).
- Guarantors: name, date of birth, contact details, address history, marital status, NI number, financial information, employment details.
- Company Lets: details of directors, officers, guarantors, authorised signatories, employees who act as contacts, and occupiers of the property provided under a company tenancy.
- Property & Tenancy Data: property address, rent, deposit, tenancy term, utilities responsibility.
- Financial Data: bank account details, salary/income, employment verification, credit and affordability checks, welfare benefits (if relevant).
- Special Category Data: health/disability information where necessary for property suitability or compliance with health & safety requirements.
Why we collect this information
We process personal data in order to:
- Perform our contractual obligations and manage your tenancy.
- Carry out identity verification, credit, affordability, and fraud checks.
- Communicate with you and authorised representatives.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the effective administration of services, including deposit protection schemes, utilities, repairs, and debt recovery.
- Monitor equality and accessibility in accordance with law.
- Protect staff and customers through CCTV and telephone recording.
Sharing your information
We treat your data as confidential. We may share information with:
- Local authorities, tenancy deposit scheme administrators, utility/service providers, and contractors.
- Credit reference agencies, debt recovery partners, and tracing agents.
- Legal advisers, regulators, or the courts where required.
- Cloud/IT providers (with appropriate safeguards if data is transferred outside the UK/EEA).
We will never sell your data.
CCTV Privacy Notice
We operate CCTV and other surveillance systems to:
- Prevent and detect crime.
- Protect staff, tenants, and contractors.
- Ensure property security.
- Monitor compliance with health & safety.
- Assist in investigations, grievances, or complaints.
Images may be retained for up to 14 days, after which recordings are overwritten unless required for investigation. Access is restricted to the DPO and authorised staff. You have the right to request access to personal data captured.
Telephone Recording Privacy Notice
We record telephone calls for:
- Staff training and quality monitoring.
- Complaint handling.
- Crime detection, investigation, and prevention (including fraud).
- Protecting staff from abusive calls.
Recordings are kept securely and deleted after 6 months. Payment details are never recorded.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure servers, restricted access, encryption, and staff training.
How long we keep your information
- Previous tenants: 7 years.
- Prospective tenants: 6 months.
- Applicants who do not proceed: 6 months.
- Call recordings: 6 months.
- CCTV recordings: 14 days.

Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccuracies.
- Request deletion of your data (where legally permissible).
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications.

Team members of Wrexrent are very polite and ready to assist in need. We worked with other rental agencies in past however, Wrexrent is the best one.
We certainly recommend Wrexrent to all for their politeness, timely communication and excellent service.
The property is beautiful. Fully decorated with all new carpets before moving in. All the appliances are of a high standard and work perfectly with no issues.
All meter readings were taken on the day I moved in and photos taken for evidence to show energy providers in the case of an incorrect bill.
All staff are very helpful and polite. Special thank you to Taylor for helping me and providing me with updates and advise on my application. Also to Dani for the day she handed over the keys at the Wrexrent office and going through everything with me and Gareth who I met at the property and went through everything.
It has been a pleasure to deal with such a helpful, friendly and professional company at a difficult time for myself with the move.
