WREXRENT Sponsor Stand at Wrexham F.C.

In a press release by Wrexham FC:

Local business WREXRENT are delighted to be continuing a family tradition after being announced as the new sponsors of the University End at the Racecourse.

The property management company was unveiled as new sponsors of The WREXRENT Stand last month, and the new sponsorship has already proved a lucky charm after Luke Young’s goal-of-the-season contender at that end in the new win against Bromley.

And the sponsorship continues the family business’s strong links with the former Tech End, which Director Dani Small was delighted to continue

Dani’s late father, Chris Jones, sponsored the stand under the banner of Eric Roberts (Builders) Ltd for more than a decade.

Her brother Marc, meanwhile, is Director of Minera Roof Trusses Ltd, who sponsor the scoreboard which is also at that end of the ground.

And the family of businesses, which started sponsoring the club in 1978, also includes DMR who, in 2016, funded and built Jonesy’s Bar.

Dani said of the sponsorship: “The family have been involved in the club since the late 1970s, and my brother Marc and I have been attending matches since he was three and I was five, so we’re lifelong fans.

“We have a longstanding love of the club so when the opportunity came up to sponsor the stand, it was something we loved to be able to do”

Husband and fellow Director at WREXRENT John Small added: “It’s all the same family, an old Wrexham family, a big supporter of the town and the football club and we’re just trying to do our bit to help.

“Dani’s Dad was a massive Wrexham fan and as he was behind the Eric Roberts Builders sponsorship, it seemed like a good, positive thing for us to do.

“Hopefully, with Dean Keates back in charge, we can turn the season around and everyone will say the WREXRENT Stand was our lucky charm!”

As well as Dani, John and other members of the wider family of businesses, two-year-old daughter Delilah proved the family’s Wrexham-supporting tradition remains strong too, as she sported the home kit.

With the family’s history and their long association with the town and club, Dani added that the sponsorship was something that they are very proud to continue.
